::Industry takes TIME to celebrate graduates::

The travel industry gathered in North Sydney last night to celebrate the graduation of six Travel Industry Mentor Experience (TIME) Mentees last night.

After six months studying under the mentor programme, the graduates were treated to fine food and toasted by Jetset Travelworld Network chief executive Peter Lacaze for completing the mentor experience.

“Make the most of the people that you meet as this industry is one of the greatest industries to be involved in,” Mr Lacaze said.

Touching on his own mentors and development in the industry, he advised graduates that to be successful you need to have the “willingness to learn” as well as an open mind towards “new technology”.

“The mentees have come in at the right time as the industry changes, new jobs present themselves and through this programme it builds opportunities,” the Jetset CEO said.

Closing the event TIME and attendees thanked Penny Spencer, Mike Hatton and Marie for their efforts in maintaining the continuation of the programme and gaining interest in the New Zealand and Asia markets.

Congratulations to the graduates.
