Your course will include a guided visit to the colourful Valachenai Market, with an introduction to Sri Lankan spices and vegetables and their nutritional benefits.
Back at the resort you will be briefed on the various Sri Lankan curries, cooking styles and methods, and will take part in a lively cooking demonstration with the resort’s chefs.
Your cooking course ends with you enjoying a delicious meal of Sri Lankan rice and curry, a photo session with the chef, and a certificate that you can proudly display when you get home.

Centara Passikudah Resort & Spa Sri Lanka is set next to the beach at Passikudah Bay, a long stretch of coastline renowned for its calm and shallow waters, ideal for swimming and water sports. The outer bay has an extensive coral reef and there are scattered coral communities within the bay, together forming one of the best-known reef systems in the Indian Ocean.
The resort, which is on the east side of the island, is 35 kilometres north of Batticaloa and five hours away from Colombo by road. Both air and road transfers can be arranged from Colombo by the resort.
