This summer, from new family experiences to the fireworks show like none other – here are new seasonal story ideas from The LINQ Promenade and High Roller.
Fly LINQ Zipline Coming Soon
Expected to be the first and only zipline on the Las Vegas Strip, Fly LINQ is coming soon to The LINQ Promenade. Fly LINQ will feature 10 side-by-side zip lines and is capable of simultaneously launching all riders. It is scheduled to open at the end of 2018. Construction on this exciting addition is already underway, closing the northbound lane of Las Vegas Blvd. directly in front of the Promenade. Construction will primarily take place overnight when businesses are closed and all businesses along the Promenade remain open and operational.
This Independence Day, the holiday festivities begin early. Starting on Saturday, June 30, The LINQ Promenade will feature a red, white and blue-themed LED parade beginning at 8:15 p.m. At 9:20 p.m., the Caesars Palace fireworks show will begin. Throughout the rest of the evening, there will be free “body marbling” which turns the body into “psychedelic works of art.” The Saints of Las Vegas will be performing live at the Fountain Stage.
On Sunday, July 1 – the party continues with a parade at 12 p.m. and family-friendly activities throughout the day including balloon art, balloon toss contests and jugglers. The Saints of Las Vegas will return that evening for a second night of live music. On Wednesday, July 4, the family-friendly activities and roaming entertainment such as stilt walkers, caricature artists, hula hoop performers will be taking place throughout the day.
The Summer BBQ Bar Cabin
New this summer: BBQ 550 feet in the air. The Summer BBQ Bar Cabin is now available. In conjunction with Virgil’s Real BBQ, guests can get away from the heat by riding the air-conditioned High Roller while feasting on Virgil’s signature Texas Beef Brisket, Memphis-style Pork Ribs Carolina Sliders, Texas Beef Brisket Melts and Cornbread. This will also include an open bar and private bartender. Guests may bring their own music to listen to during the 30-minute rotation. Kids Ride Free: High Roller Promotion
With school out, the High Roller is the answer for parents looking for things to do this summer. Kids six and under can now ride the High Roller for free! This is one of the best ways to see Las Vegas from the sky with the entire family.

Sprinkles is offering the DAD Box from June 15 to 17. Available in-person and online, the box will include classic flavors such as dark chocolate, red velvet, black & white and old fashioned.
Off The Strip Bistro & Bar will offer a nearly 30 oz. ribeye bone-in bourbon steak, loaded baked potato and cheesy asparagus for $45. For dads who would like to kick back with a few shots, options will include Bulleit bourbon ($10) and Whiskey Smash ($13), as well as beer buckets ($25).
Cold Treats and Desserts
With cold treats available throughout The LINQ Promenade, guests can enjoy the Las Vegas sunshine while indulging in delectable desserts.
Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop serves its world famous hot fudge sundaes topped with freshly homemade hot fudge, unforgettable fountain treats including shakes, floats, malts and other delicious fountain creations.
For those roaming the Promenade, there are the classic chocolate, vanilla or strawberry milkshakes at In-N-Out Burger. Sprinkles serves up more than 20 ice cream flavors inside sandwiches, waffle cones or sundaes.
Amorino Gelato offers guests 25 different flavors of gelato which are served in their signature flower cones.
For guests in need of the perfect poolside apparel or accessories, The LINQ Promenade has numerous options.

New and revamped experiences await guests this summer.
Virtual Reality Adventures (VR) is now open in a new location, offering never-before-seen immersive experiences that plunge guests into a three-dimensional virtual world. Unlike traditional video games, VR Adventures requires gamers to use hand movement, walk, sidestep or jump to explore or fly through the virtual world with several unique and exhilarating experiences. With the new location, VR features nine experiences for guests of all ages, including the VRoller Coaster. Marshall Retail Group’s new retail concept, Welcome to Las Vegas Gift Shop, is also now open. With an unmatched selection of logo items, guests can discover a vast array of Las Vegas souvenirs and indulgent treats available only at the newly-opened location. The store features a premium selection of products ranging from t-shirts, hats and collectibles to a new collection of Vegas Golden Knights Gear just in time for the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Opening in June will be Socks & Bottoms. Influence, The Pool at The LINQ™
This summer, Influence, The POOL at The LINQ adjacent to The LINQ Promenade becomes the only adult-only pool on the Las Vegas Strip offering free entry for all guests 21 years of age or older every day of the week. Located at The LINQ Hotel & Casino, guests can now access the pool via a new entrance from the Promenade with convenient parking High Roller valet. Influence offers entertainment seven days a week, with DJs spinning from 12 noon to 5 p.m., as well as featured headliners on select Saturdays, including Brooke Evers on June 9 and Shwayze on July 7.
Another new addition this year is The Taco Spot. Serving fresh soft and hard-shell tacos, tostadas, protein rice bowls, chips and guacamole and boneless Latin-inspired chicken wings, the new poolside Taco Spot Bar features six Mexican draught beer options, margaritas and a one-of-a-kind Michelada menu.
